Inside the Online Empires Community: What I Saw When Families From Around Australia Came Together

In October 2026, I flew from the Gold Coast to Victoria to spend three days with families from our Online Empires community at Paradise Valley in Glenmaggie.

I'm Brodie Salnitro, also known online as Brodie Nitro, and I'm one of the co-founders of Online Empires. I've been building online and involved with Enagic since 2017.

Over that time I've watched our community grow from something relatively small into a network of people spread across Australia and other parts of the world.

But seeing names on a screen is very different from seeing everyone together in real life.

Families arrived with caravans. Kids were running around together. People who had known each other online for years were finally sitting around the same fire.

And one of the things that stood out to me most was seeing how much of this had become part of people's actual lives.

So we got the camera out and started asking questions.

Inside the Online Empires Community

We didn't give people scripts or tell them what to say.

We walked around the campground and asked people about their own experiences.

What was it like starting an online business? What did they think about the training and support? What had the community been like? What Enagic products did they own? How were they actually using them? And looking back at what they'd personally purchased, how did they feel about those decisions today?

This video is what we captured.

What People Said About the Training and Support

One thing that came through repeatedly was support.

Some of the people we interviewed had come into this without previous online business experience. One person explained it simply:

“We all start with no experience. We don't know what we don't know.”

They talked about having step-by-step training to work through and, importantly, having actual people they could reach out to when they didn't know what to do next.

Another person had come from working in a traditional trade and described the difference as having people to lean on while learning something completely new.

That's something I think is important to be realistic about.

Nobody starts knowing everything. Building an online business still requires learning skills. People have different experiences and different results. Having training and a community doesn't remove the work.

What it can do is mean you're not trying to figure every single thing out by yourself.

Seeing the Products Being Used in Real Life

Another part of the weekend that I loved was walking around and seeing how people were actually using their Enagic products.

Not in an advertisement. Not in a showroom. In their caravans.

One family showed us how they'd built an inverter into their setup and connected their K8 while travelling. Another had multiple K8 machines across their home, caravan and family homes. Another couple had two K8s — one at home and one in their van.

One of the machines we filmed had completed two laps of Australia with its owners and travelled roughly 50,000 kilometres around the country.

I knew people in our community loved the products, but there's something different about physically walking around a campground and seeing how integrated they'd become into people's everyday lives.

We Also Asked About the Purchases

We didn't only ask the easy questions.

Some people had purchased one product. Others had purchased multiple products. One person explained that they bought one product themselves and financed another. Another couple talked about purchasing a larger product package.

When we asked the people interviewed whether they regretted the product purchases they had made, the responses captured in the documentary were overwhelmingly positive.

That's their experience — not a promise about what somebody else will experience.

I think that distinction matters.

These people are part of the broader Online Empires and Enagic community. They're not independent reviewers randomly selected from the public, and I'm not presenting them that way.

They're simply people who actually purchased these products, use them and were willing to talk openly about their own experience.

The Part I Probably Value Most Now

When I first started building online, I was chasing freedom.

Freedom over my time. The ability to travel. The ability to build something of my own.

Those things still matter to me.

But almost a decade later, I probably appreciate the people more than I ever expected to.

At this weekend there were people from completely different walks of life. Tradies. Parents. Families. People at different stages of building their businesses. Some had known each other for years and some were meeting for the first time.

Kids were running around everywhere. People were sharing meals. There were conversations around fires that had absolutely nothing to do with business.

That's difficult to explain through Instagram, a webinar or a website.

Sometimes you actually have to see it.

What Online Empires Is

Online Empires is an education, training and community platform that supports independent Enagic distributors as they learn the skills involved in building their own businesses.

I co-founded Online Empires and have been involved with Enagic since 2017.

The platform provides training, resources, community and ongoing support, but none of that means everybody will achieve the same result. People have different circumstances, different levels of effort, different skills and different outcomes.

The people in this documentary aren't being presented as examples of what somebody else will earn or achieve. They're sharing what they personally experienced.

And that's exactly why I wanted to capture the weekend the way we did.

No actors. No scripts. Just a camera walking around a campground asking people what their experience had actually been.

For me, that's a much better representation of the community than anything I could have written about it myself.

Cold open

Interviewer: How would you describe the community here and, and I guess the support and, since you've been, gotten started? And coming from no experience, how did you find, like, the training and the resources and stuff for yourself?

Participant: Well, that's what makes this, you know, so much more possible because we all start with no experience. We don't know what we don't know, and having access to, um, you know, step-by-step training within the business, you can follow the steps and, you know, and implement what it's gotta be done to build your own business up.

Participant: And again, to support the community, if you're unsure of something, there's always someone there to reach out, help you out, you know, go from there.

Participant: It's, it's a whole another level. It's something I just didn't think existed. Um, yeah, it's so much better than I ever anticipated. Uh, the positivity, everyone's got your back.

Participant: You feel like you've just known these people forever.

Participant: Once I came on board, the community was like, I didn't even fathom it was gonna be this amazing. Yeah. Like, yeah, it's been incredible.

Participant: This has done two laps of Australia, this machine. Yeah, believe it or not. Yeah. Just finished our second lap, so it's been, yeah, 50-odd thousand Ks around the country with us.

Community & culture

Participant: Oh, look, the support was always there, and it's a big thing about the community, the people. It doesn't matter who they are, where they've come from, they're there to support you, to help bring you up. Um, and it doesn't matter what part or what rank you might be in the business. And falling back from a traditional trade, like you don't really get that support from a traditional business.

Participant: Like, you know, they're there to help themselves, but all, all these people are in, you know, different areas of life, different walks of life, and they, they just wanna help each other out, and that's the beautiful thing about the community.

Participant: Four months ago. Just bought a K8. Single. Husband's still working. Stay-at-home mom, but wanted to get out of real estate.

Participant: I don't think I was expecting it to be as incredible as it has been. I think it's being with like-minded people who celebrate success and build each other up is a really beautiful change in life, so.

Participant: We're away with families enjoying the fruits of the community. That's the best thing about it, hey. Like I've obviously met Christian online, hadn't met him in person for a long time. And even you guys, like I've been following you guys for a long time, never met you. So it's great how this community comes together.

Training & support

Interviewer: What was it like starting a business like this where you do have kind of a team around you?

Participant: Well, you've just got help and support to lean on, I suppose, and like when you start something brand new, you do need help and support, and you need a lot of it. I think in this day and age, it's never been easier to learn new skills 'cause we've got ChatGPT and we've got YouTube and all this kind of stuff, but it is really good to lean on someone that's actually done the things.

Participant: I think that's really, really great. Um, and like everyone here is just super like-minded and you can just, ‘Hey, like, what's working for you? What's working for you?’ And we get so many Zoom calls, and the support's amazing.

Products in real life

Interviewer: I see you got the machine set up here. Yeah. And you've got a bunch of bags to carry your Kangen in. Yep. Yes. Come on. We're traveling. How'd you get it set up here?

Participant: So we got the inverter built in. The inverter, plug it straight into power and then just hook it up to my tap. You've got Kangen water. I got 150 liters of water under the camper. So we're traveling at the moment, so. Yeah, so I wasn't going away without this.

Interviewer: Yeah. How many of these do you have? Do you have more than one?

Participant: Yeah, I got a couple. Got one at home. Got one here. I've got one at my parents' place. And we've got one at George's mum and dad's place so that everywhere we go, we have amazing Kangen water.

Participant: We've got three K8s, 'cause we take one with us traveling everywhere. We leave two at home. And then we've got three ANESPAs, so we bring an ANESPA traveling and leave two at home, one in the bath and one in the shower.

Interviewer: So you've got the product set up here. You've got your K8. How long have you had it?

Participant: Over five. Five and a half years.

Participant: We have two.

Interviewer: What'd you get two for?

Participant: 'Cause they're fantastic. One at home, one in the van. One to lend to the family. And then do you have any of the other products yet? Yep, we've got the ANESPA as well.

Participant: This has done two laps of Australia, this machine. Yeah, believe it or not. Yeah. Just finished our second lap, so it's been, yeah, 50-odd thousand Ks around the country with us.

Personal choices & ownership

Participant: Um, I bought one of the products and I financed the other product.

Participant: So I bought them separately. So I bought this one just to get into the business and then I sort of bought a second one later on. I love it.

Interviewer: And no regrets?

Participant: No, no regrets.

Interviewer: And so the products side of things, what did you guys invest in?

Participant: Yeah, so we started with the quad.

Interviewer: And so with the quad, no regrets?

Participant: Nah. No. Not one regret.

Participant: Yeah, no, no, it's good. We love all the products, so there's no worries about that.

The people who stay with you

Participant: Everyone's just, you know, one message away, so if you need help they're always there, so.

Participant: And that's unique for a business. You know, you don't usually have that kind of support with something you can just reach out to.

Participant: The kids are running around everywhere, having fun. Everyone comes from a different walk of life, but ultimately same mission, you know, and it's to be able to provide well for the family.

Participant: And these products essentially brought everyone together.
